Electroslot
The club runs several "electroslot" competitions each year, some are run in conjunction with the Ivinghoe Soaring Association just for added spice.

So what is electroslot? It is a competition for electric powered gliders, there is no weight limit and no restriction on the motor, type of battery or number of cells but each model must be fitted with an approved height limiter.
The object of the event is to gain the longest four flights, up to 10 minutes, with a maximum power duration of 30 seconds or 150m height, whichever is reached soonest and the event will consist of competitors flying four rounds with 10-minute slots which includes the 30 second climb time at the start.
There will also be a spot landing task at the end of the slot with additional points being awarded.

Full details can be found in the electroslot rules which are here.
